Sharp was born and raised at home in Rochester (New York) and immersed herself in the world of music. In the Hochstein School of Music, she took classes in cello, clarinet as well as piano. The Boston Conservatory offered her an award for the theatre classes at her school. Cum Laude, where she was awarded the B.F.A. Sharp began her career in the stage world after graduation from the Conservatory. Sharp played in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp is also a part of Abyssinia as well as Aida as well as Thunder Knockin, Jitney and The Producers. She was even a reading partner in August Wilson's Come and Gone. Sharp also has other projects that she is working on alongside her projects for stage and screen. The singer is also working on her first full-length album for studio work. Sharp is an exercise enthusiast who enjoys boxing and study Krav Maga. When not being in front or behind of the camera, or capturing music in a studio, she enjoys long drives, playing the piano and hiking. Sharp lives in Los Angeles.
